Notes and photos become part of the Vice Calibration Report, so everything an insurer needs is bundled in one clean document.
Step 1 — Open the Notes & Photos area
In the job details view, scroll to Tech Notes. Below the note field you’ll see the Drag and drop a file area with options to browse or take photo.
Step 2 — Add a note and upload photos/docs
Type your note (e.g., setup details, measurements, or observations). Then upload images or documents of your calibration work. Accepted file types: .png, .jpeg, .jpg, and .pdf. Great examples include calibration setup photos, successful calibration reports from Autel or other hardware, OEM calibration instructions, and related documentation.
Step 3 — Your note & photos appear on the report
Everything you add is automatically included in the Vice Calibration Report alongside the identified operations. That way, you can forward a single, insurance-ready PDF with complete documentation.
Tips for clear documentation
• Use one note per operation when possible (e.g., “Front radar calibration: target distance 1500mm, successful”).
• Include photos of the vehicle setup, target placement, scan tool success screen, and any OEM references used.
• PDFs from your scan/calibration tools are great, export them and attach here.
• Avoid sensitive info in photos; blur license plates or personal data if needed.
Troubleshooting
• Upload blocked? Check file type or reduce file size.
• Don’t see your upload? Refresh the page; if it persists, try re-uploading.
